Premium Transmission strives to empower and encourage young women in participating in its industrial activities and actively providing them opportunities to work across all functions including SCM, sales & marketing services, R&D, IT, new projects and assembly line. Thus, increasing their self-confidence, improving their self-esteem and enhancing their communication capabilities to make them equal professionals. Our aim is to promote education, vocational skills, employability, gender equality and economic empowerment.
PREMIUM TRANSMISSION SWATI Program (Girl education & empowerment)
Premium Transmission developed the SWATI program for girls from low socioeconomic backgrounds, with the objective of facilitating higher education, practical skills training, and most importantly, making them employable. It is also influenced by the concept of a female-only assembly line. In the direction of establishing gender equality, economic empowerment, and social growth, this is a big step. Our comprehensive approach will lead to a more prosperous, diverse and inclusive society.
- Premium Transmission and Symbiosis Open Education Society have entered into a collaborative partnership facilitated by Symbiosis Skills and Professional University in Pune.
- Eligibility for this scholarship program is extended to young women from underprivileged socioeconomic backgrounds and economically weaker sections (EWS) who have attained a passing grade in science (including mathematics) during their 12th-grade education.
- The program is designed as a full-time residential initiative, entirely cost-free for participants.
- Candidate selection is meticulously carried out through a comprehensive process encompassing assessments, interviews, and counselling.
- Active Learning through hands-on experience constitutes 70% of the curriculum.
- Students allocate half of their time to classroom learning and the remaining half to practical on-the-job training at industry locations.
- Each batch is limited to 25 students, ensuring personalized attention.
- Participants enjoy access to state-of-the-art facilities.
- The curriculum is comprehensive, covering Engineering, Mechatronics, Supply Chain Management, Assembly Line operations, Inventory management, and more.
- Upon successful completion, students are awarded a Diploma Certificate conferred by SSPU.
- The program provides avenues for meaningful employment opportunities within mainstream industries.
- A remarkable track record of 100% job placement underscores our commitment to candidates' success.
- Graduates are seamlessly integrated into our operational units, contributing to our workforce excellence.
- As of May 2021, the inaugural batch witnessed 80 young women successfully graduating, and to date, 110 individuals have achieved this significant milestone.
